Enclosures & electromechanical

Your enclosure and your board, from one supplier.

Molded electronics enclosures plus PCBA from one supplier at JCH Design & Manufacturing. EVT/DVT/PVT support, tolerances and finishes handled, board assembly and enclosure built together through vetted partner factories. Send your spec for a quote.

Stop refereeing between an enclosure shop and a board house. JCH molds the enclosure, assembles the PCBA and brings them together with the tolerances, fit and finish handled — through EVT, DVT and PVT to production.

Why teams consolidate here

The hand-off between vendors is where programs slip.

When the case comes from one factory and the board from another, the mismatch is yours to own. We take that seam off your plate.

One owner for fit

The enclosure and the board are quoted, sampled and validated against each other — boss heights, standoffs, connector cut-outs and tolerances reconciled before tooling.

Enclosure plus PCBA

Molded or sheet-metal housing, assembled board, harness and final assembly under one program, inspected as a unit.

NPI without the hand-holding

EVT, DVT and PVT builds run with functional test defined up front, so you’re not debugging fit and firmware at the same time.

Capabilities

Everything between the spec and the finished unit.

Molded and metal enclosures, board assembly, harnessing and final assembly, finished to your cosmetic standard.

Molded enclosures

Injection-molded housings with the bosses, snaps, living hinges and connector cut-outs designed for the board inside.

Sheet-metal & die-cast

Bent and welded sheet-metal enclosures and die-cast housings where the application needs ruggedness or shielding.

PCBA assembly

SMT and through-hole assembly, component sourcing to a named BOM, and conformal coat where the environment calls for it.

Functional test

Test fixtures and pass/fail functional test defined with you and run on every unit, not just a sample.

Finishing

Texture, paint, pad-print and laser mark to a cosmetic standard you approve as a golden sample.

Final assembly & pack

Board into enclosure, harness, label, kit and retail-ready pack — shipped as a finished unit.

Materials & construction

Specified once, then held.

Pinned down before sampling, so there is nothing to argue about once a lot is running.

How it works

From your files to packaged units.

  1. Send both specsMechanical drawing or CAD and the board files or BOM. We sign your NDA first.
  2. Reconcile fitWe check the board stack-up against the enclosure and flag tolerance conflicts before tooling.
  3. Quote as one programEnclosure tooling, PCBA and final assembly quoted together, not as three disconnected bids.
  4. Validate in stagesEVT, DVT and PVT builds with functional test defined up front.
  5. Assemble & shipBoard into case, tested as a unit, finished, labeled and packed retail-ready.

Questions

What buyers ask first.

Can you really do the enclosure and the board together?

Yes — that’s the point. We quote, sample and validate the molded (or metal) enclosure and the PCBA against each other, so the fit, connector cut-outs and tolerances are reconciled before tooling rather than at assembly.

Do you support EVT / DVT / PVT?

Yes. We run engineering, design-validation and process-validation builds with functional test defined up front, and carry the learnings from each stage into the next.

What materials and ratings can you hit?

ABS, PC, PC/ABS, nylon and glass-filled grades, including UL-rated resins where your application requires them. We design gaskets and seals when an IP rating is specified. Partner-factory UL and ISO credentials are verified — never represented as JCH’s own.

Who sources the components?

We source to your named BOM. Where a part is constrained, we flag it and propose a qualified alternative for your approval rather than silently substituting.

Do you do final assembly and retail packaging?

Yes — board into enclosure, harnessing, labeling, kitting and retail-ready packaging, shipped as a finished unit.
