Certifications and standards

Built to the standard your buyer names.

A program starts with the standards it has to meet. Here are the standards Jack builds to, how the certificate for your program is covered, and the independent lab reports already on file. You get the document itself, not a logo on a web page.

Independent lab reports on file

Tested by TÜV SÜD, and passed.

TÜV SÜD is one of the largest independent testing and certification bodies in the world. These are reports on programs Jack managed, not a factory brochure. A certificate also has to belong to the plant that makes your part: factory or trading company, four checks before you pay.

Standards we build to

The certificates we can get for your program.

Most programs need a quality system behind the factory and a test in front of the buyer. Jack places each program with a partner factory that holds the certificate your buyer asks for, or arranges the audit or the lab test for it. The certificate belongs to the factory or the lab that issued it, and you see it before you commit.

These seals are illustrations of standards we can source to, not certification marks. They are JCH drawings of each standard's name. They are not the certification marks of ISO, UL, FSC, OEKO-TEX or any other body, and JCH does not hold these certificates itself. Which factory certificate or lab report covers your program is confirmed in writing, with the document, before an order is placed.

The checks that do not need a certificate.

A certificate says a factory can make good parts. These checks say your parts were made well. That work is line watch; terms such as AQL and first article inspection are defined in the glossary.

  1. First articleThe first parts off a new tool are measured against your drawing and the numbers go to you before volume.
  2. Material checkResin grade, steel, fabric and hardware matched to what was approved, lot by lot.
  3. In-processParts pulled from the line while it runs, not just at the end.
  4. Functional testElectronics powered and run on the bench before they are packed.
  5. Pre-shipmentCount, cosmetics and packing checked before the container is closed.
  6. Carton and loadMaster cartons, pallet and container loading checked so the goods arrive as they left.

Need a certificate or a report for your buyer?

Tell Jack which standard your buyer or retailer names: ISO, UL, FCC, ISTA, Prop 65, CPSIA, REACH, OEKO-TEX or their own spec. He will say which certificate covers it, what testing the program needs and what it costs, before anything is made. The RFQ checklist lists what to name up front.
